Liverpool offers a number of accommodation units for tourists and guests who wish to visit the University of Liverpool and tour the city. For a price as affordable as £45 a day, visitors will be sure to enjoy their stay, especially since most of these hotels are close to several tourist attractions in the city.

Hotels and Accommodation

Tourists and visitors can get accommodation at the hotels and inns outside the campus.

The Feathers Hotel is the nearest hotel to the campus and is located less than two kilometres away from the university. An overnight stay in any of its single or double bedrooms is inclusive of breakfast and the use of several hotel amenities including the bar and fitness facilities.

The City Centre Travel Inn Metro is more affordable than the Feathers Hotel but is farther from the university. It offers single rooms and limited parking facilities.

Student Accommodation

The university has two primary student accommodation facilities: Greenbank Hall and Carnatic Hall. Greenbank Hall is made up of Derby and Rathbone Hall (D&R) and Roscoe and Gladstone Hall (R&G) residence halls. Each hall has a self-service catering facility, central dining system, computer rooms with Internet connection, bar, and sports facilities. Local shops are within walking distance from the halls.

Carnatic Hall is the largest accommodation complex in the campus. It is made up of six halls of residence, which are Dale Hall, Morton House, McNair Hall, Lady Mountford House, Rankin Hall, and Salisbury Hall. Each hall has a central dining and catering facility, shop, bar, computer room, sporting facility, function room, and a student health advice centre.

Both student accommodation complexes are located in the residential community of Mossley Hill. They are served by a local bus service called the 699 Arriva that plies the route between the halls and around the campus in the daytime.
